Peter Yu
studied Architecture at Shenzhen University where he was an outstanding award-winning scholar. Within three years of graduating, he founded his own company pioneering the quarry-to-installation process as a business model. He led the way to diversify from Chinese mines by discovering and working with rare quality materials from quarries in Europe and the Middle East. Peter visits all associated mines and quarries regularly to investigate extraction and preparation methods and to guarantee quality of continuing supplies at predictable prices. While constantly curious to find new sources of natural stone, Peter also follows closely the developing sciences in the production of man-made materials. His collaborations with suppliers, clients and designers have led to firm friendships which are fundamental to the success and expansion of his business.
